About George Woideck

George Woideck has been fortunate to enjoy a lifelong career in the arts: First as a painter creating large abstract works of art; then George followed his love for music as a guitarist and singer performing in a rock band that recorded and toured nationally; and returning to the visual arts, he now works as a ceramic artist specializing in large tile and mosaic public art installations. Throughout George's time in the arts he has had an deep interest in young people's involvement in creative expression; as an artist-in-residence in education, George has worked with students and their teachers, sharing new techniques in ceramic art and and finding new ways to integrate visual art into the core curriculum.  

George is married with a son, a stepson and stepdaughter and now grandchildren to whom he loves to tell stories. The sequel to Brooke and Piper, titled The Room With No Door, is available on Amazon.
